The final leisure unit fronting onto St Peter’s Square in Manchester has been let making it a clean sweep for property agent Jenics who secured all four tenants.

Healthy fast food brand Friska has signed a deal on an 1800sq.ft unit at Two St Peter’s Square and will neighbour Wagamama, which opened in July this year.

Jenics also concluded both ground floor leisure leases at neighbouring One St Peter’s Square to San Carlo brand Fumo, which opened in 2015 and Drake & Morgan’s new flagship site, following on the back of ‘The Refinery’, due to open in Spring 2018.

Chris Lewis of Jenics who led on the Friska deal said: “It is a real coup for Jenics to act on all of the leisure units of such a prestigious address.

“We believe the mix of brands we’ve attracted will lead to St Peter’s Square becoming a favourite foodie destination for city residents, workers and visitors.

“It’s not every day leisure retail units with the potential of St Peter’s Square come on to the market. Situated facing Europe’s busiest Metro stop and beneath one of the city’s highest profile office addresses, Friska will benefit from strong visibility, an external terrace and huge passing footfall.

“We’re looking forward to seeing all these four brands open and trading successfully.”

Jenics acted for client MSV/Deutsche for the Wagamama and Friska deals having secured the Fumo and Drake & Morgan deals on behalf of the Argent Greater Manchester Property Venture Fund (GMPVF).
